George Mason University, University of Maryland, and Connected DMV are working to leverage 311 data to understand municipalities’ civic technology use in the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) area during disasters like the COVID-19 pandemic. The NSF CIVIC Innovation Challenge grant will boost collaborative activities between universities, non-profit, and local governments and improve the DMV region’s resilience.
